Our audience on Instagram mainly focused on current students and younger alumni. They tended to interact with us more through Instagram Reels. Partnering with my student intern, we were able to take the articles I had written and come up with ways to engage our audiences with similar messaging using Instagram Reels. But there were also created content just to celebrate National Days and have fun — which ended up being some of the best posts!

Despite not having a social media manager to help with a regular flow of content, Texas Wesleyan's Instagram account saw great engagement improvement over the last year since I took on the content manager position.
